Can you turn your regular poker account into a prop one at the same poker room?
Posted on October 4, 2009That question there is one that we’re asked all the time. It is quite a delicate issue indeed. You see, players want to make more money and more rakeback all the time, and getting paid for playing or even playing rake free can be an extremely attractive proposition for a good or at least break-even poker player. The poker room needs action on its tables, and if it can convert an inactive player into an active one through a prop deal, it may just take advantage of the opportunity. On the other hand, losing a regular, rake generating player and having him return as a prop is counter-productive for the room.
The only way to know whether you can turn your regular account into a prop one (or a rakeback one for that matter) is to contact your poker prop deal provider.
