Software quality and propping
Posted on October 22, 2009As a poker prop, you should always pay attention to the quality of software the prop room features. Software quality is generally important as it directly impacts gameplay and the whole online poker experience, but it carries special significance for a prop.
Software that is cutting edge in every respect but fails to provide an ideal environment for multi tabling will give a poker prop a major headache. Like it or not, as a prop you’ll often be required to multi table, if for no other reason then to optimize your invested time.
Graphically flashy software may be easy on the eyes, but if those same features come at the expense of multi tabling, that software is just not going to cut it for a poker prop. You need mini views, resizable tables and plenty of them, and good stability while multi-tabling.
