The quality of competition and propping

Playing at a poker room which has tons of fish at its tables is always a pleasure. That remains valid for poker props too. Sure, you get the outstanding rakeback anyway, which means you can basically afford to be a slight loser and still finish the month in the black, but if you turn a buck directly at the table, you’ll be infinitely better off.
Taking on fish at the Holdem tables can be a little tricky. Because of a phenomenon called “schooling”, individual skilled players stand a real chance of being frustrated time and time again by the dumbness of the masses. Over at the Omaha tables though (and as a prop you may be required to head on over there) rookies are nothing but cannon fodder. Due to the nature of the game, at Omaha tables schooling doesn’t work in favor of the beginners, but rather against them. Therefore, if you are to take on loose passive opposition, take the action to the Omaha tables. If you’re faced with a tough opponent, Holdem is the way to go.
